Deortegas organic extra virgin olive oils are the fresh and delicate result of a healthy combination of ideas and illusions, hard work and a deep care and respect for the land.

We are a family with a long history in agriculture and more than 30 years dedicated to organic olive cultivation, we decided to create our own oil mill and during all this time we have been discovering the essences that our olive trees keep.

In 2008 Marcelo Ortega and Rafaela Ortega created their own oil mill with a very clear objective, to offer a delicious organic extra virgin olive oil of superior quality, produced and elaborated with the utmost respect for the environment and always inspired by traditional processes and love for the product.

Today we, the next generation, excited about this special family project and motivated by the impulse to return to the land, betting on a dignified and respectful agriculture, continue to care for the fruit of what we saw growing since we were children, to obtain something that we are part of and that now also tells our story.

In 170 hectares of traditional and organic cultivation, we take care of 33,000 olive trees of different generations, spread over three estates (2 rainfed and 1 irrigated), with a traditional planting frame of 8x7 metres.

In this incomparable connection between land, sun and Mediterranean air, we obtain the fruits of the Arbequina, Picual, Cornicabra, Hojiblanca and Frantoio varieties.
